Empowering Educators for Youth Climate Action (E-EYCA)

The E-EYCA Fellowship is a yearlong, virtual professional development program that supports secondary school educators in tackling today’s climate challenges—by centering youth agency and action.

    What Fellows Do

Through collaboration, innovation, and research, fellows co-design and implement action-oriented climate learning projects in their classrooms using high-quality digital resources and pedagogy grounded in equity and impact.

    As a 2025–26 Fellow, you’ll:

    • Receive a $3,200 stipend for your participation and expertise
    • Co-lead student action projects with two students of your choice
    • Collaborate with peers and ASU researchers in monthly virtual sessions
    • Explore innovative teaching tools and strategies for climate education
    • Contribute to participatory research in real-world classroom settings
    • Gain access to optional fully funded travel for in-person events (e.g., conferences)

Meetings are virtual and held once per month (Sept 2025–Aug 2026), with light asynchronous work in between. On-site opportunities are optional and fully funded if available.
